Here is an image of Grimminger in the year 1935, where the blood flag is in the 500er Grosser Mercedes.
No treatment of the old fighters and the figures from Hitler's chauffeur-eska would be complete without Emil Maurice.
It is interesting that Graf wore the Gallipoli Star.

1. Very early, Hitler on tour, Graf's head to the right of Hitlers. He has his bushy moustache and wearing a hat.
2. Graf to the right of Hitler wearing a black kepi and his moustache trimmed down.

It is interesting to me that Grimminger in the Ausweis photo looks to be wearing a grey uniform. He is typically pictured in black or wearing the trad. brownshirt uniform.

He wore the grey uniform once it became the norm with the Allgem. SS in whatever date, there is a picture of him in Mollo at the last trooping of the color in such a uniform.
Apropos Schreck and black uniforms and such, this image from the Hoffmann cigarette book which I first saw in 1961 is quite the classic image of old fighter in the post 1933 epoch.
Thanks F-B I will look up said picture and refresh my tired memory. If I'm not mistaken Grimminger wore the black uniform into the war years.
The image is of Grimminger at the time of the death of Gauleiter Wagner in 1944. It is on p. 68 of vol. I of the SS series.
