Unknown pin
I'm hoping some kind soul out there can help me identify this pin. I've had it for decades, kept in an old tin along with a lot of ancient coins and broken jewellery. Every few years I dig out this tin, look at the stuff, think it's all rubbish and shove it back in a cupboard for another few years. This year I've decided it's all got to go, but I've no idea what half of the stuff is. Well this pin is gold coloured metal, only about an inch or so high, and has what looks like 'SS XV' on it, or 'SX SV' depending on how you read it. I don't even know if it has anything to do with WW2, but I've got to narrow the search down somehow. I've attached a photo.
If anyone has any idea what this pin is, I'd be most grateful.

Re: Unknown pin
There is a connection , though : Adolf Eichmann was a passenger once , one way trip 1960 . There seems to be little documentation on whether or not he got the pin ..

Re: Unknown pin
I wonder if old eichmann even got a bag of roasted peanuts and a pillow....My thoughts lean towards "no".
