Visor Box?

I should photograph more Nazi boxes I do own. I have some, but they are not very interesting.

For those whose ambitions out run them in cases of this kind, a real cap box with the evidence of the march of time.

It and its cap did not get burned up, which is remarkable. It also has no gaudy Nazi markings made by computer graphics and so forth.

I remembered that I had another of these treasures. The box is without ornament and worse for wear for being 75 or so years old....

The cap is of the Firma Hertlein, Erlangen of blessed memory.
