What I always wondered is how you could determine this is an original and not a modern reproduction, it really can't be that hard to reproduce these...

thats a pandora's box opened, i was blissfully happy thinking that there were about 25 different shields now you start looking there appears to be unending different versions and places. Particually like "Indishe Legion der Waffen - SS". haven't actually seen a photo of one though - anyone have one?
