Thanks DDavies and Andreas. this seems to be a late war tunic as well..late 43, early 44. The SS ran it of materials late in the war, and had to borrow from the Wehrmacht supply of uniforms and other items. This is a five button, three belt hook hole blouse, originally produced for the Heer. This one never had Wehrmacht insignia however, and started its life in the SS .

I'm sorry but I don't like the cufftitle as I do not like boards, sleeve eagle and tabs.

cuff title appears to be one of the sort given out (as mentioned before) with a history of Wiking published by Munin-Verlag some time back.

i too am not comfortable with the boards.

the rank insignia does not look correct to me either.

the others, due more to the limits of my experience than anything else, i withhold comment.

Not a fan of the application on the blank collar tab and it has been reapplied, but might be an original though its condition looks artificially aged, and I am not a fan of the runes or the eagle. Funny how the runes look quite worn but the stitching holding them on does not except agai where they look to have fake aging. The shoulder boards at first glance look quite convincing with the late war exposed piping on the reverse, but they just don't look right to me.
    Regards,

    Jerry

    Whatever its just an opinion.

I like it except for the cuff title, which we all know is fake. I will reserve judgment on the shoulder boards. It also doesn't appear to show any signs of heer insigina. The fake ct. may cause some to question the other parts, but doesn't make everything fake. Each piece must stand on its own merit.

The Cufftitle don't cause questions on the other parts.Every insignia is judged for what it is.
Where is the embroidered rune border line considering these are early as they are embroidered on moleskin ?
No questions on the sleeve eagle. It's a well know fake.
