Re: W-SS Wiking M42 tunic with insignia
Nice image carlsson.
I think that the problem with this type of tunic is that "yes" they did exist but that they were not common.
To me there are 2 different factors here:-
1) Is it a correct period adaptation.
2) If I buy it will I be able to live with it, or will it just annoy me for the time that I have it.!!!
This type of tunic could be more common than we think but the problem is that you cannot tell how many of these were lurking under cammo smocks and just to compound the issue those personnel who transfered from the Wehrnacht to the SS were supposed to retain all of their issue kit, no doubt to save on materiel, but as previously stated if you try and resell an item like this you will be in for a hard time because it is not a "one looker", no issues tunic.

Re: W-SS Wiking M42 tunic with insignia
Thanks for all the input. This tunic is way too much money as has been now found to have been " put together ". I would not want in my collection!!

Re: W-SS Wiking M42 tunic with insignia
10000 will be a high price, even for correct tunic. I've sold mint SS BW marked, stripped tunic for 3000 eur.
For a good Wiking tunic reasonable price will be 6000- 6500 eur.
10000 is way too much to spend for a very questionable tunic, IMHO

Re: W-SS Wiking M42 tunic with insignia
It was listed for sale on another forum! I posted it for review there as well and they are not too happy as to how it was listed by the seller!
