Waffen SS salty officer tunic opinion

Article about: many thanks Bob, the problem is...the tabs are original at this tunic ( in the owner story of course ) but the size seems to be the same on the green collar, on my lips the silver thread is

    even a bad condition, the SS tab did not look promising, it is in a wrong shape, and strange cut buckram backside. I would not comment the tunic, it could be SS or not.

    Hi Seba, the tunic is original and does appear to be SS from the pics. But it is very worn and the cost to restore it would be high.

    I too do not like the insgnia shown.

    From the images posted, I concur with my colleagues that the tunic has a chance of being original but the collar tabs are bad.
