The sleeve eagle arrived today. Looks very good in hand. According to Bill Shea the item was among those several hundred cloth pieces liberated by Colonel Donald E. Currier from the SS clothing manufacturing depot at Dachau. Currier is also known for the George S. Patton "slapping incident" .

Bought the item not the story though. The eagle is in very good condition.
