    Here is my favorite SS camo pattern ( Erbsenmuster )and one of my favorite period images taken by photographer Lee Miller for me it does not get much better than that.

    While not my favorite, it is the only one I have - got it from the vet in 1961 along with a helmet. Also have the pants. Both pieces are matching maker and in new condition.
    He said he took it out of a dead guys rucksak.

    Autumn Blurred edge for me.
    But in saying that this non cloth SS Cam pattern wins hands down though.

    I'm with the spring Burred edge but there a few variants, I have just these two and the oak leaf and pea patts are very effective!

    Love those Zelt images Rene. Every time I see them I think cam patterns have not really evolved to much since WW2.
    The SS were certainly ground breakers in the world of cam patterns.
