    "The cap is made of bearskin and features the post 1912 skull (the true classic of the Braunschweig regiments). It is complete with all of the unique fittings of an officer's pelzmutze of the 17th Hussars, including the lion head side bosses, bandeau, full and plush bearskin covering and special chinscales. It is fully lined with a cream colored silk lining and comes with it's parade feathers, housed in their original storage case. A wonderfully regal and rare cap which is in excellent condition."

The field badge is in the incorrect Prussian colors, and must have been switched at some point in the cap's history. A wonderful and rare cap which is in excellent condition."
