Here is one i might purchase as my first "ww1" cap, though some mothing on the top. The maker looks to be Carl Marktredwitz?! I have tried to find info. on that maker, but to no avail. Do my eyes deceive me or does the sweatband looks to be made of plastic? That can`t be a good sign?

The manufacturer seems to be Carl Dannhorn, located
at Marktredwitz. This is the area east of Bayreuth, near
the Tsjech border. The name is not familiar to me!

Cap is a good one. The sweatband is made of oilcloth, not plastic.

I thought Dannhorn was his middle name, and I wasn`t really sure about the sweatband, but now i am.
    Thank you, gentlemen.
