Are any of you able to help identify the medal on this uniform? Unfortunately this is the best image I have.
The uniform should be Austro-Hungarian WW1. If any of you know more about it as well...

The badge looks like a - Reiterauszeichnung für die Kavallerie - Badge for skillful riders of the k.u.k. and k.k. cavalry (1906). Can you see more detail under a glass? Cheers, Richard.

This is the best I can do with the scan I have. Unfortunately the photo itself is also quite blurred when it comes to the badge.

I've bumped up the contrast a bit.
The rider badge seems similar, but I'm not 100% sure:
