I am looking at picking this dagger up for my collection and one other one I will post soon. I know the maker mark is the second pattern and the cross guard seems to match even through it appears to be uncleaned if that's a word. The handle is throwing me off looking more like an ivory pattern as far as the cut goes. The handle is not ivory. The scabbard appears to be good without circle pattern pebbling. What am I missing. Seller provided photos, so I do not have any interior shots.

This may help. I think the website may be pinned in the dagger forum, it's an excellent resource for all things to do with the Army dagger. You may need to hit the translate button though.

This is a very nice combination Anzel as it looks like everything is original to the dagger. Rare to find daggers like this..without them being parted out...Nice score!!

    Nice eickhorn dagger.

it has the early one side screw scabbard, normally seen on the early eick with the early logo.
The transitional logo often has the side screws.
    I Like this one

    Cheers,
    Ger
