early HOD by Gebr. Heller

I got this one because Peter gave me the opportunity, he had it on lay away, but granted it to me, Thx Peter
Its an early Gebr. Heller but not with the commonly know Balloonmans logo.
It has the usual Pack 1 guard and a chromed blade.
Pommel is froozen, blade has been this way forever, not uncommon for this maker to have the MM on front.
Enjoy this lovely early beauty......the Heller family is complete now and will stand proudly next to his brothers in our new to come book, progress is going well

That's the way to find them with the frozen pommel, Ger.
Ive seen allot of untouched heers with the maker underneath the crossguard which leaves me to wonder if they were originally bought like it and then turned by the individual owners who wanted to see the maker marks.
The only argument against this would be that every other dagger displays the maker mark on the reverse.
