So with Petercollectors dagger, knowing what we do about these grips and the material they're made of, is it likely in time that the dagger will re-age and return to the color it had prior to him wiping it? If so, I wonder how long that would take... I've seen a lot of chipped grips, and every one of them had the chips the same color as the rest of the dagger. It stands to reason that the color will always end up even again, doesn't it? They couldn't have all been chipped 70 years ago.
