Im led to believe the crossguard may have been changed out to a generic type not only because of the lack of patina coverage beneath the crossguard eagle ...but a very uncommon use of a Generic type Guard not seen in use with Eickhorn.
This cross guard being a Type A generic..... which Eickhorn has 4 crossguard types and the generic shown is not one of them to my knowledge.
( Members Gerrit, Tom Kendall or danny dr73 could explain further )
The grip is a Type B or 2nd production type
The producer logo is correct for a mid period dagger
Wait for additional knowledged comments
