Heer dagger
Hey guys!
Found this dagger for sale yesterday and would like some thoughts on its authenticity and if possible, value.
The seller wants around 460$ for it.
The dagger is in good condition. The handle looks new but the portapee is really worn...
Also I'm uncertain about leafs on the know. Aren't they supposed to be in more detail? It feels like something is missing.

I also think the Logo, Eickhorn, looks a little shady. Could it be that worn out or...
This dagger is original, I am not sure if its a parts dagger or a complete Eickhorn throughout, wait for the experts to give you the break down, 460 is fair although the blade is alittle shaggy, 400 would be a good counter offer.
I don't see anything wrong with the logo. I believe it's a later one.

As mentioned already, it is a late war ( pot metal ) Eickhorn, will all parts recognisable as Eickhorn manufacture, including the scabbard, ferrule and pommel. A fair price as well considering it includes a portapee, albeit worn.
I believe the eagle is the 4th pattern varient with the beak slightly open, identical to the one I own.
