Mark1 that looks fine to me it has a billet clamp mark on the tang of the blade, (the cross with the square around it) the swirl on the ends of the cross guard are niceley defined, and the acorns are well defined on the pommel, the only thing i cant tell is the handle, if you post a pic of it end on, i may be able to tell from that, lots of the copy handle's had a big hole drilled out to take the tang hope this helps,
    all the best Ronnie.

sorry mark 1 that should have said maker mark stamp on tang OOPS!!:
and i think it could be F.W Holler the billet marks are small lines on the tang
were it was held while being worked on, as you probably already know
    cheers Ronnie

The "cross in the square" on the tang was a symbol used by some long forgotten "generic" blade maker that sold to a large number of maker/assemblers. I think the dagger could have been made by any one of a number of different outfits. Nothing suggests to me that it could have been made by FW Holler as they made their own fittings generally and had no need of any others. If this was made by Holler, we should probably see Holler fittings which we do not. JMHO.
