Something that isn't mentioned in the comments are the hangers. Looking at the pictures they seem to be the early (heavy) brass type. You can tell by the clips of the hanger. In my opinion they are a lot more desireable (and alot more difficult to find) than the later versions. I also think these early daggers are worth quite a bit more. You can clearly see the difference when you compare them with late hangers.

Danny good point on the hanger it does bring more value on the table when purchasing a dagger, But buy going by the photo's its hard to tell 100% But I can tell the scabbard is also dented. If I was looking for a dagger I would just explore my options before pulling the trigger on this one.
As for Army hangers I love these ones.
