Hi, you find nice late war produced example made by WKC. Whole dagger is textbook WKC piece with most common WKC fittings - 4th. WKC crossguard. It is interesting to note, that rings on scabbard are Carl Eickhorn product, we see them on almost all late WKC daggers.
So for me, there is nothing wrong with this dagger.
Regards
Peter

Agree with Peter..Honest, correct late WKC. Has typical plating loss, these late pot metal pieces received a very thin flash coat of silver plating.. Kevin.

Thanks yet again for your information guys. I'll probably make an appointment with the seller to see it first hand. You think 490 euro, about 530dollar?, is a allright price for this piece? Average prices are between 575 and 680 euro, from retailers.

if it with the hanger yes a bargain.

Yes, it comes with the hanger. I'll make an appointment with the seller soon, so I can see it in front of me. Anything I should watch out for? Should I also dismantle it or would there be to much risk involved?
Sorry for those questions ;p First time buying such piece for my collection.

Hi, price for this late war produced dagger in this condition is about 350 €, with hanger maybe 420 €. Dagger looks OK, so don´t have wories about it. Look at the scabbard screw, if it is unturned if the blade is not scratched, look at the leather buffer and so on...
Regards Peter

I agree Peter, i would not pay more then 400 for this set, as the silver plating is very poor.
And even in Holland lots of Heer daggers are available, even at Markplaats....only thing is react quickly....before those idiot moderators remove it beause of their anti swastika policy.
Groet,
Ger
