Help! Fake or genuine Puma dagger ?

Hello gentlemen,
What are your thoughts about this Puma dagger please?
I think this is a good Puma blade with a generic type A crosguard.
I noticed the correct dome shape screws too.

Pics are bad, but from what i can see an all Generic A fitted dagger with the later Puma logo.
Salty dagger that has seen better days.

Does usd400 a fair price considering the almost mint portepee?

For that price I would hold off. The cracked handle and looks like somebody buffed the blade logo looks almost worn off. But its your money

Way to much for a very common generic fitted dagger in this condition.
Pass it and find a good one, they are not that hard to find in good condition.

btw im not very fond of the shape of the Portepee's acorn, need way better pics to see if that is an original.
For sure later added as its in way better condition as the dagger.....

Thank you for your expertise Gerrit and RH1941. I finally took It for usd300. Not a great dagger but I really like the Puma logo. So I think it's a correct deal.
