As promised, here's the weekly update Like the Klaas daggers Krebs also is known for their plated blades. Here's a nice example with a type B crossguard. I love the dark red grip on this one.

The next one I would like to show is a nice personalized early army dagger by Paul Weyersberg. This one has a type 1 WKC crossguard and is internally numbered nr. 76.

The last update for this week is also an army dagger by Paul Weyersberg. This one has a slightly later production date. Weyersberg started plating their blades very shortly after their initial production. The Weyersberg trademark is also a bit closer to the crossguard. This is a nice example with the typical flat sidescrews and Weyersberg crossguard. Enjoy the pictures.

Beauties Danny!! That Krebs is as nice as you could hope for (and a rare maker!) Great grip and condition.. The first Weyersberg is interesting, the pommel and scabbard bands remind me of Horsters initial production pieces, but I see the Weyersberg "flaw" there on the top of the scabbard! The only true rule, especially early on is variations!! Great dagger! The last PW is very textbook and nice as can be!! Sure it doesn't have a number?? I have #360 in this 2nd type PW! Great show! Kevin.

Danny that Krebs with tag for sure is a true beauty, but dont post it with Slant Weyersberg daggers afterwards, LOL
Its like 2 deserts after a great meal!
The hand enhancement on those Weyersbergs are fab! and what a very flat sidewcrew on the scabbard throats.
I never saw your Weyersberg and i most admit they are great!
    thx for showing.

Lovely Weyersburgs, their early stuff has everything an advanced collector likes to see. That Krebs is something else as well.

You have a great eye for a quality army dagger Danny!.

Thanks for the kind comments guys! Kevin: The Weyersberg with the plated blade doesn't have a number on the tang. The first one even has the number written on the top of the grip.
