    Cool Puma Slant

As a first post I thought I would share this one picked up last week in the UK with the help of a friend. Not the earliest Puma config but still early. It is fitted with a Pack 3rd hand enhanced crossguard and aluminium hilt fittings. I suspect the blade will be tapered tang but I am unable to check as it is fixed and never been apart.

The earliest Puma army daggers normally feature a crossguard that is yet to be identified and with the normal silver plated fittings, WKC scabbards and of course slant grips.
Most alu hilted daggers from the company are matched with non-slant grips and Pack scabbards to match the Pack 3rd hilt fittings.
This one has a mixture of the earliest fittings, WKC scabbard and slant grip and finished with the slightly later Pack 3rd hilt fittings.

A couple of friends also own early Puma's, both with the same hand chaste wing enhancement, you have got to love the early stuff . Hope you like it !. Apologies for the poor pictures.

A stunning dagger. The hand enhanced guard and clean blade make it very special. I agree, the early dagger are a pleasure to hold. The slim slant grips give them a very elegant feel.

    Thanks guys,
I have a bit of a soft spot for the early slanted ones and to find one with alu hilt fittings is not an easy task. I was a bit disappointed with the pictures, they do not do this dagger justice, the weather was overcast all day.
    I appreciate the comments

I just love those early type A grips, Slants are imo the best grips!
They did a great job on the Eagle too!
Thx for showing this great Dagger
