Hi guys, recently this one landed on my doorstep. A rare bird I wonder if you can guess the maker
(Kevin, Jon, Peter, Ger, Tom: I know it's an easy one for you so let the others have a go first please)

Could it be a early Alcoso?
Cheers,
Jonas
I also say Alcoso, looking at the wing design I'd say it's a 2nd pattern cross guard.
'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

Excellent! Here's a picture of the maker mark. I now have all four crossguards of Alcoso. It took me quite some time to get this last one so I'm very happy with it.

Very nice Danny! I wish I could be as focused on my collection as you, could you line up all 4 patterns and take a photo for reference sake?
Congrats Danny! Looks like a beauty with a wonderful patina.. Best, Kevin.
The lovely and hard to find second pattern Alcoso!
I have seen the first mugshots a week ago and boy its a great one!!
Funny how this one almost slipped out of our hands by bad pics and bad description at the auctionsite, luckily you picked it!!!
Congratz!!
Ger
Nice dagger Danny! I still miss 1st. Alcoso, and this second pattern I already have, but not so nice like yours! My crossguard almost lost his eye but still nice.
Best regards
Peter
