    Original Cross guards with the swastikas are available on other dealers sites. Nice example.

    Yes if you wanted to nazifie it agian their are original cross guards for sale. But the de nazification makes this piece a little more interresting in my mind. Great dagger and thanks for sharing.

    Very nice dagger i wouldnt say no to it myself, most of the military
    item coming from germany from the fifties onward have the swastika taken off as they made it ilegal to show it, and still is.
    thats why the decals on helmets have lost the swastika,
    but still a nice piece.

    Nice character piece!
    Swasey or not its a classic original item that most of us would like to own.Better to have one like that than a fake with no history at all.Nice item and i would'nt bother buying another cross guard for it.After all its only made original once in its life so why change it
