IMO I would say this is not period made...Just lacks the fit and detail from even the ones I have owned.

Not my specialty, some of the small scale daggers do appear to be period. But others (seemingly the majority) do not - and look more like "knockoffs" made for collectors and/or the souvenir/curiosity collectors. Which is where "in hand" or very close detailed inspections are helpful in side by side inspections. Best Regards, Fred

Ade that one has the proper little crossguard and all looks well.
The portepee and hanger are homemade, but still a nice addition.
