I think that it is original, though I am not too knowledgable about third reich daggers.

It is an original eickhorn army dagger with a lovey toning to the grip. I would not clean it or disassemble it anymore. The grips are easily broken this way. Shame the scabbard is gone. Best regards.

Makers logo and approximate date of manufacture. I'm not sure all components are original to the piece but they all exhibit the same amount of wear imo. The dagger gentleman can expand further on those points.
