You have some very nice daggers in your collection Peter. I too have been bitten by the Heer dagger bug, and have collected a number of them in the past year or so. To me they are much more interesting than the SA daggers. The variety of grips, crossguards and makers makes for an interesting collection.

Hello friends, thanks a lot for all positive comments. Sometimes I have a lot of luck with purchasing interesting daggers - and this is example of very lucky buy - this Horster 1st. patent dagger. Despite unmarked blade, this dagger is absolutely textbook Horster dagger - pommel, crossguard, blade and scabbard were produce by Horster company. Knot and horseshoe hanger is to the piece. Dagger is in uncleaned state, left as it was found.
Hope you like it.
Hello friends, I have to finish E.&F Horster daggers - so here is the rest - Horster 2nd. patent dagger. This is quite common dagger so most of collectors certainly know this 2nd. Horster.
I hope you will like photos.

Hello,
Larry, thanks for your comment, I´m not finish, there are some more dagger which I want to show.
Friends, here is another dagger - Late Anton Wingen Jr. - very nice and in this condition hard to find dagger. Dagger shows only very little use during the period. There are also some rusty spots on scabbard, but nothing serious.
Hope you like photos of this impressive Wingen dagger.
Regards Peter
Hello friends, I decided to show you another army officer dagger. For this time it is Holler with 3rd. pattent crosguard. This dagger is common and many collector recognize it - but also a lot of reproduction exist on today´s market. But for sure - this dagger is authentic - complete with knot and hangers.
Hope you will like it!
Regards Peter
