Hey guys, I had a few of these examples with the maker mark the standard way.....And after doing some research seems you do come across makers mark both ways, Strange I guess Heller just assembled which ever way the blade fits with crossguards, I would assume that its been taken apart and put back together wrong.
That being said I guess you just never know what happen at the factory.

Hi to all, I agree with Danny and Ger, many Heller dagger has marker mark on the eagle´s site... including mine dagger, and as Ger said pommel is frozen so I can´t and don´t want turn pommel off or take apart this dagger, because it can be very easily damaged.

My example (shown here with gold velvet in background) will disassemble but will not fit in the guard with the mm to the back! It was ground and fit with the mm in the front..
