It appears to have the small moulding number cast into the grip, so I would say it is wartime.

Hi Ade, isn't that the crows foot WD mark ?
I'm not 100% certain of this, but I think the mould-line in the grip indicates post-war ( wartime ones were ground ).
I was looking at the pic, top right. But you have it in hand. I thought I could see a number there? I could be wrong as the pic is out of focus.

No Ade there isnt a number on the hilt unfortunately. Do you know how much this would be worth to sell ?
In that case it is post war.
Sorry no clue on value, being minus a scabbard will hurt it.
