Article about: Hi' Guys, Picked this up recently, I'm 99% sure its not period, but would it be a presentation piece? The quality is excellent, not your normal Asian junk.

    Hi' Guys, Picked this up recently, I'm 99% sure its not period, but would it be a presentation piece? The quality is excellent, not your normal Asian junk.
    PS F&S fighting knife is the only inscription on the blade.

    It is a first pattern Wilkinson FS fighting knife.
    Might be a second pattern sheath. Please post more photos of the blade.

    It is a copy.

    Points to note:

    No Wilkinson trade mark
    Die stamped FS mark as opposed to the correct etched style.

    And made by worldwide arms in the 70's I believe. It has fooled many

    Ade is 100% correct. The F-S logo is a dead give away.
