F-S Knife 2nd Pattern ?

Hi all ... had this in my collection for a few years.



No provenance I am afraid but looks like it has had a modification to the sheath... possibility period.

No markings on the blade or the handle/cross plate .. but does appear to be a brass WW2 2nd pattern type ?

Yes, a good 2nd pattern.

A good dagger with a period sheath. All have been used and abused
but shows lots of character . Looks like a true veteran to me.
