looking foward to seeing the pics
there were a lot of diferent fs manufacturers so its dificult to say what the exact blade length should be

yes i believe the tip has been re shaped after damage ,,its to round and blunt
it should be a very sharp point , but that makes no diference to what it is ,it a wonderfull dagger be proud of it ,cheers ian

cheers for the comments ian, who knows when it was done, thats me just clicking on to what you were meaning a few posts back yes i would agree it looks worn down and as you say in its hay day it would have had a needle sharp point

oh and theres no file or sharpning marks up the blade edges and this things still really sharp a well made piece of kit that will out last us!

    cheers again for the comments

No.9 Army Commando were formed from troops under the command of the Scottish District. Google No.9 Commando and you will find a wealth of information. With regards to blade length they varied from 7inches to 6.5. I agree with the others that your knife appears to have the point re shaped after damage. Having said that it is a super knife. John.

That is a beautiful dagger. You should be very proud of that indeed.

By the way, crash me a fag will you. I'm gasping for one.
