Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knives info please?

Hi everyone,

Please can anyone give me any more info on these 2 Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knives?

The brass looking one has B2 inscribed on the hilt and the black one has A Wright and Sons, Sheffield, England.

The brass one has its original sheath but I believe the black one is more modern and I'm not sure if it is the original sheath.

Please can you give me any info on them and also any idea of the value?

I think your assessment of what you have is quite correct.
This site should give you any information you need about the one with the B2 and arrow. It is a second model, FS fighting knife.

The B2 marked knife is a ww2 knife. The other one
is post war.

In fact, A Wright of Sheffield still offer their 'famous all-black Commando knife' at a SRP of £53.50.

Martin gave you an indication of value for the post war Sheffield marked knife. As far as the B2, it's a relatively common F-S type, and one in similar condition to yours without the England export stamp (assuming yours doesn't have this stamp) could fetch upwards of $400+ in an on-line auction.
