The elastic top strap on WW2 models is approx. 10mm wide. Whereas post war are around 15mm wide.

Thanks for clarifying. I should have said : wartime elastic = narrow. Post-war elastic = wide.
I have one very similar and mine is post war. Brown leather sheath black handle elastic etc. I'll pop a pic up when I get a mo.
Post war style VERY thin cross guard.

Those are great reference sites, relicz,
I learned mine is a mold number 2 third pattern with a 13 acceptance mark on it.
