The 2nd pattern nickel was found in a local pawn shop by a fellow who is now my knife collecting friend. I bought it from him about 30 years ago for $350.
A fair amount of money then but, I thought it was a good deal.

Does the sheath look like the snap fastener is original or did it start out with elastic
and then altered?
