    A quick eBay search has these "listed" for $80 to $380.... whether they get those higher end prices I don't know

    I've got one of the folding Camillus machetes and a couple
    Case fixed blade versions. Mine is not as minty as the one posted.

    These rounded blade survival machetes were a replacement for the
    V44 survival knife which IMO was a much cooler knife.

    Although a far poorer weapon in general than a fixed blade, these have been completely banned here in Australia since 1958. I guess gang fears of the time helped this law come about.

    The US folding machete don't go for anywhere near $200, a Commonwealth one maybe. 35 have sold since June on ebay and only one was above 120, which is too bad they are such a great knife.
