UK special Knife?

I need your help
I this a special Knife from the UK?
I know the Polish Parachuters have this.
Can some one say how old and its UK?

Fairburn-Sykes commando knife. Whether it's genuine or not, I dont know, but they have been covered elsewhere on the forum.

I have moved this to the correct sub forum devoted to "FS" knives.

It is based upon a Third pattern knife. However, this is not an issue knife.

Note the alloy handle is an integral casting with the crossguard. The blade is shorter in length too.

So this will be private purchase. Maybe British made, but I could not tell you for sure??
