    There are some similar on ebay, French Grenadiers apparently. Cheers.

    Thanks mate. I did think French and I had also considered Grenadier Guards, so combining the two as you did gives me the answer.

    No problem. I too was going to say Grenadier Guards, but it didn't look quite right.

    The Gren Guards examples I have are quite different and usually have the monarch's cypher below the Grenade, though the cap badge is very similar.
