Unknown button....please help!
Article about: Hi everybody, i truly have difficulties regarding this button's identification...I found it in Romania, and beside some similarities with some civil war buttons, maybe some napoleonic ones..

it's just my opinion, but for me it looks a kind of egyptian. The eagle reminds me to an eygptian or arabian one.

'LB' might refer to Livery Button. In the 19th century many wealthy families provided uniforms for their livery staff.

Similar to some Napoleonic buttons but not an exact match!....

French buttons of this period had a "turret" instead of a loop on the back, and as it is in English, that rules it out as being French
As for a Livery button, I don't think so as almost all livery buttons had a twisted line below any "insignia" on the button.

Found something similar but not an exact match ... its described as "A Confederate droop wing eagle button" which would explain why its English on the back??

There seems to be a Crown above the eagle , so i'd say European .
