Examples of Officer Caps
Hi
Two examples of officer caps for the reference files and to demonstrate the changing insignia in the 1930's.
The top one is as of 1928-1932 with the introduction of the silver chin cord and the usual Reichsadler insignia with metal wreath on the cap band. State cockade on the crown.
Pioneer cap as of 1933-1935 when the reichsadler was replaced by the cockade bearing the national colours. The state cockade remained on the crown.
cheers

Wonderful material from one of the real stalwarts here.
And the Reichswehr is a fine area of inquiry and collection.

Hi Tony, yes I like living in Kent Garden of England. Just a quick boat/car/plane trip to Europe to see the war sites.
Have you been to see the poppy display at Tower of London as to my post today, A wonderful feeling being there?
