    Default 1940 42 100% matching including magazine.

This gun came to me as a rig with the holster. It is 100% matching including the magazine and has an excellent bore. The gun has turned a wonderful dark plum color.

Thanks for the comments. Without a doubt the Luger has the nostalgia and says German military probably as much as the German Stahlhelm or Swastika. However when it comes right down to it the Luger ended it's rein during WWII for a reason. It was an outdated firearm. But there is something about the other firearms produced in the late 20's and early 30's. You had both P35's with the Radom and the Hi Power and the P38. All were much better combat weapons IMHO. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate my Lugers.

My favorite gun the browning, I have fired 1000's of rnds through them (ex military 23 years) and I shot a lot of competitve shooting with them (I even owned my own Mk3 until I had to hand it in (along with my other guns) they recycle through the rnds so fast, lovely gun to fire and acturate

I will have to dig the holster out. It is packed away in a crate that I have of holsters. Seems like it was a standard black 1940 dated but I don't remember the maker.

This one goes to the range with me every time I go. If I could only keep one gun that was functional of all of them I have the Hi Power MKIII Practical is my favorite.
