    you should notice the paintwork glenn i think i can narrow it down to the 2011 manufacer date and i think the makers mark is no.10 (foerster&barth)

    I was just asking because i saw your thread where you had the copy of the mg so i did not know wether you upgraded to a "real" mg or just own both ?

    I see you have added some pics now of the markings. Maker is WaffenWerke, Brunn and of course made in 1943.

    as ade says a very good mg34 dated 1943 but not matching numbers like a lot of examples the buttstock and the butt stock conector arn't matching (doesn't make the guns any less valuebale
