Article about: here is a luger i picked up can anyone tell me anything abought it?

    It looks similar to the M1 Garand movie prop I have from The Pacific. Same size, good heft, and looks good from far away, but lacks intricate details.

    It does make an intimidating paperweight that's for sure!

    Thanks! When I first showed it to my dad, the first thing he said was: "How do you load it?"

    I am looking to make some space in my collection and the Garand prop may need to be sold.

    The one i got was not cheap as there were a few people very interested in it and i got caught up in the auction war!! $150 plus there % and tax it was very close to $175 .....

    I use to have one also, an oldtimer told me they were sold as high priced toys in the 50's, they made lugers, p38's, and 45's.

    In the 50s and 60s these were sold through magazine ads for a few bucks.
    They had versions of most anything.
