    Hi, Pammy !

It looks to be a very nice, well executed 'model' of a P-08 Luger made into
a shooting prize during the war.

This will indeed have value, but how much would one be willing to pay ?
    Regards,

    Steve.

I have not seen anything quite like this before and I must admit I am very wary of it. This Division was very badly mauled in fighting on the Eastern Front in 1943. I just cannot envisage this being original.

    Cheers, Ade.

hi Pammy , i had a similar timber Luger up until the early 90s. in my youth ,lol, i was a member of the military police in the Irish defence forces . when i was based in the curragh camp i was given the timber Luger by a retired company Sargent . as a neutral state in ww2, or as it was called here the emergency . Irish understatement at its best!! any servicemen allied or axis that ended up here were interned in the curragh our main military camp .the story i was told was that it was produced for use in an attempted escape , the reality probably was that it was carved by a bored guest of the nation..cheers Paul

So, possibly 'trench art' or 'POW made'.................?
(As Ade said, I'd be a bit wary too !)

How much does Dude want for it ?
    Regards,

    Steve.

Hi Pammy, now you say the whole thing is wooden, I am a little more inclined to believe in it. Still not certain about it by any means though.

    Cheers, Ade.
