It's a toss up between it and my 1900 Swiss Luger with it's holster that is in the same condition. I have a hard time choosing a favorite in my Luger collection.

I agree. Luger prices are going crazy these days. One has to be careful when purchasing one. 2400.00 is crazy for a Black Widow.

Luger prices have nowhere to go but up for righteous P08. BUT there are so many humped Luger's out there one must be very careful and knowledgeable about Luger's or you can get badly burned. $2400 for a 1942 Black Widow if correct is not outrageous in todays market.

the Swiss 1900 with the scolloped toggle is in about the same condition but a much rarer Luger.

What makes you want to collect the Luger? For me it was just the pure history behind it.
