    Yeah we can only have de-acts in the UK..No live firing as such...So all my weapons are de-acts..So no noisr what so ever but still good to look at & play around with lol.. Cheers Terry.

    Congrats on obtaining the most legendary pistol ever made,as far as I am concerned! Glad to read you have the right to bear arms in your country.

    Since you were seeking opinions/comments......

    The aluminum mags are for a WWII luger.what I would suggest......... in the future, you could upgrade the mags,correct 1917 would have wood mag bases.

    Given the grips are really worn and chipped(bad removal technique by some one,thats why they chipped off by the saftey lever),I would get a better set,save the old ones,that may match the pistol
    .

    I think she would show much better with the correct mags and a decent set of grips, myself.

    I'm looking to get a P08 Luger soon-just bought a Beretta M34 used by the Finnish army and a .455 Webley Mk IV marked for Australian service. A common variety of Luger here is about the same cost as yours, Paulus.
