Hi guys, I wanted to share with you my Mauser 1941 Luger P08, which I bought in April for myself. I payed, well I don't really want to share it, partly because I don't want to have overpaid and receive valuations haha. But I hope you enjoy it, all matching, except for mag, and can be taken down well. Deactivated of course!

Thanks for showing. Had one many years back stamped 42 - 1939 and paid only two-sixty for it but some numbskull had reblued it and put replacement grips on it. Sure ruined collector value but sold it for more than I paid still. Price on unaltered ones in good shape are going for big bucks here in the states. Well made and sure unlike our Tupperware guns being made today.

Well I'm UK so guns that go bang aren't my thing, and I'm only 15 eeeek. But the problem with mine is just condition.

Very nice Luger, what's the serial number?
    As I have a byf 41 serial number 9332p.

It has a 4 number code as do most I believe, which is 7667, and that's on the end of the receiver, and then all the other marks are 67 😊

Looks nice, a bit of pitting on the top, is it from Real Guns?

Have a look at the number under the barrel, above the trigger guard. This where the full serial number is located on P08s.
Under '7667' you will probably find a letter in italics. The serials were 1 - 9999, and then 1a - 9999a and 1b 9999b and so on.
Where the letter represented a 10000 block. eg serial number 4444a = 14444 and 4444c = 34444 if that makes sense.
