Very close to the 'Luger' in design.
Back in the 60's Crossman also had a single shot airgun version similar to this one,
but yours is closer to the 'P-08' than theirs was !
The "Sparklets" are not the 'standard size' - like Crossman cylinders. These look shorter/smaller,
and possibly made only for this manufacturers products. I had not seen this type before.
I like it a lot !

Nice Schimel GP22 you got there Zwerge! I think these were the first ever Co2 powered pistols ever produced, the powerbulbs it used were 8grm, still available in home brew shops. Yours looks in nice condition, i saw one sell here in the U.K. last year for 180 quid that was not as nice as yours. Incidently, they also produced a pneumatic model, the P22, if you've got one of them it's worth well over a grand! Thanks for showing, a very desirable piece.
Cheers, Ned.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.

Thanks guys, mine is an early model marked P22 serial 4159X, the pneumatic model was apparently marked AP22,the later gas models were marked GP22.

Here is one I got in the early 2000's !
It is a 'Webley Premier'.......sort of Luger-like.

Steve.
