My Mauser Luger 1940

I disagree with your opinion, I saw Mauser luger with "57" on the side plate and it was also stamped up-side -down , I think it could be during the luger manufacture

If the number on the inside of the plate is 20 than I am wrong.
What is the number on the inside?
PS I ment to say "accepted by inspector"
My spelling is not so hot

You right, it has 20 at the other side of the plate and what does it mean?

ooops sorry, I understood, it means that this side plate has correct number 60 for that luger, so I was right. Jason L thanks for link it was interesting to read it cos I didn't know anithing about stamps on the other side of the plate.

Cool , I learned something too. I also see after a second look that the "font" of the '6' is the same.Very nice unusual Luger, with up-side -down plate #

Unfortunatly the magazine does't match, I haven`t opened grips yet I will do it soon.
